Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) can perform a variety of skilled services, and can assist you or your loved one with treatment, instruction and evaluation of care on a regular basis. RNs hold either an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program and maintain a current state license.
RNs and LPNs are responsible for assessing and evaluating the care given to the patient, and reporting to the patient’s physician.
RNs and LPNs can provide nursing services in the home or in facilities, including:
- Critical thinking
- IV Push and Flush
- Assessment of wounds and condition
- Central lines

Companions and Homemakers are care providers that can perform basic, non-medical services. Companions and Homemakers are best for families or individuals who need some assistance and companionship to stay at home, but do not need extensive care or help.
